People have been pondering the return of Wonder Woman since the return of superheroes to the big screen. The various attempts in recent years to bring her back had continuously failed - and she seems destined to never return to the surface.
It has all changed with the recent report that an actress has finally been selected to return this iconic hero to the big screen. The initial report is that she won't be starring in her stand alone film, but will appear in the Man of Steel sequel, currently being called Batman vs. Superman.
Her name is Gal Gadot, and she is a 28-year-old actress from Israel. She won the Miss Israel crown in 2004, represented the county in the Miss Universe pageant, and is ex-Irsrael military.
Gadot is most know for her roles in the Fast and Furious franchise. She played the character Gisele is Fast & Furious: Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6, and also appeared in Knight and Day and Date Night, as well as one episode on the show Entourage.
Gadot will be joining Henry Cavill, who be returning to his Superman/Clark Kent role, and Ben Affleck, who will be playing Batman/Bruce Wayne.
